A late Christmas present
We’ve been waiting for snow for a while – actually since I said that it was the best opening day I could remember…
We should have known at the time it was the kiss of death. But after sketchy snow at Christmas and New Year we’ve finally been treated to a storm of epic proportions.
Now heavy snowfalls like this come with massive risks and it’s really important to underline the fact that the off-piste is dangerous at the moment. But if you ski with an expert who knows where to go then you get to spend the day smashing through thigh deep powder and smiling extensively. Interested?
But what’s happening in resort?
Well there has been so much snow – and so much wind – the the top of the mountain has been close for a couple of days, but as things start to reopen we should see all the old favourites coming back into play – Gentianes, Col des Mines, Vallon d’Arbi, Mash… And conditions on the piste should be great for weeks to come.
Oh, and did we mention that there’s more snow coming? Well, there is…
So enjoy our little video of Emma and the Peak Leaders team having fun, and if you fancy taking your skiing to the next level then get in touch – we’ve got performance camps and women’s camps coming up and it should look a lot like this…
