Winter has struck in record-breaking style, with snow falling so fast that the roads of Verbier have been thrown into chaos and we have seen over a meter of fresh fall this weekend.
A lot of people are saying this is the biggest fall since the legendary season of 1999 – when there was so much snow that half of the alps were closed due to the massive risk.
But as we type this there has been about a meter of fresh with even more to come. We genuinely are struggling to remember snow like it in all the years we’ve lived here.
